RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Hobby Plug, we sell trading cards, collectibles, sealed products, singles, graded cards, and other hobby merchandise. Because of the nature of collectible products, certain items are final sale.
TRADING CARDS & SEALED TCG PRODUCTS
All sales of sealed trading card products are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on booster boxes, booster packs, elite trainer boxes, collection boxes, tins, decks, cases, or other sealed TCG products.
This policy helps protect our customers and our business from product tampering, resealing, product substitution, and frequent fluctuations in collectible market values.
Changes in market price after a purchase do not qualify an item for a return, refund, exchange, or price adjustment. This applies whether the market value of an item increases or decreases after purchase.
SINGLES & GRADED CARDS
All sales of individual trading cards (singles) and professionally graded cards are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on singles or graded cards due to market-price changes, buyer preference, condition disagreements after purchase, or concerns regarding the substitution of a different card or graded item.
We encourage customers to review product photos, descriptions, conditions, and other available information before completing their purchase.
OTHER COLLECTIBLES & MERCHANDISE
For merchandise that is not a trading card product, single, or graded card, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if you would like to request a return.
To be eligible, the item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition in which it was received, including its original packaging, tags, and accessories. Proof of purchase is required.
Returns must be approved by Hobby Plug before an item is sent back. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is the result of an incorrect, defective, or damaged item received from Hobby Plug.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ORDERS
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If you receive an incorrect item or an item arrives damaged or defective, contact us as soon as possible at hobbyplugnj@gmail.com.
Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the item, shipping packaging, and any visible damage. We will review the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.
Damage to an item’s outer shipping packaging that does not affect the product itself may not qualify the item for a refund or replacement.
CANCELLATIONS & MARKET PRICE CHANGES
Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled.
Hobby Plug does not provide refunds, returns, exchanges, or price adjustments because the market value of a collectible has increased or decreased after an order was placed.
SALE ITEMS & GIFT CARDS
Clearance or final-sale merchandise and gift cards are not eligible for return or refund.
EXCHANGES
Eligible merchandise may be exchanged only with prior approval from Hobby Plug. Trading card products, singles, graded cards, and other items designated as final sale are not eligible for exchange.
REFUNDS
If a return of eligible merchandise is approved, we will inspect the returned item after it is received. If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund after it has been issued.
Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return resulted from an error by Hobby Plug or as otherwise required by applicable law.
IN-STORE PURCHASES
The same final-sale restrictions for sealed trading card products, singles, graded cards, gift cards, clearance items, and other items marked final sale apply to purchases made at our physical retail location.
